A secure room and shipping station, designed, built, and run for a card platform

The situation

A digital pack platform sells pulls of real graded cards and owes each one to a customer, shipped or held. It needed a physical operation in the United States that could receive to the certificate, hold under lock, ship daily, and never deal against it.

What we did
  1. 01A secure facility taken and fitted out on the platform's behalf, with the room, the scan station, and the procedures in place before the first card arrived.
  2. 02Every card received to its certificate number and photographed. Customer pulls picked, packed, and shipped daily, each release recorded against the order.
  3. 03A sourcing desk for the cards the platform owes but does not yet hold, priced across channels, grade-matched to the listing photo, bought only on written approval.
What they received

A holdings statement to the certificate, a daily operations record, and a live buy sheet for every open obligation.

Retained samples, held off site for a group of consumer brands

The situation

A group of supplement and cosmetics brands is required to keep a sealed sample of every lot for a year past its shelf life and produce it on demand. The samples sat at the factory, the one place a dispute with the factory would make them worthless.

What we did
  1. 01A sealed sample set is pulled from every lot at receiving and recorded by lot number and expiry date.
  2. 02Samples are held sealed, never opened or tested by us, with the retention period tracked per lot.
  3. 03The brand is told before any sample ages out, and retrieval is on written instruction with photographs and the chain of custody.
What they received

A live retained-sample register, and a retrieval record a regulator, insurer, or lawyer will accept.

Verification of a marketplace's graded-card inventory, to the certificate

The situation

An online marketplace holds graded cards on behalf of its customers and needed the physical inventory checked against its own system by someone with no stake in the outcome.

What we did
  1. 01Every card scanned by certificate number and matched to the client's inventory export, item by item.
  2. 02Duplicated certificate numbers, location mismatches, and cards on the system with no physical match reported back with the evidence for each.
  3. 03Inventory moved into recorded, labeled storage positions with a condition record per item.
What they received

A holdings statement to the certificate number, and a discrepancy report the client used to correct its own records.

Independent quality control at a contract manufacturer for a product launch

The situation

A beauty brand launching a new product at a contract manufacturer needed someone on the factory floor for the first production runs who answered to the brand and not to the factory.

What we did
  1. 01Pre-production check of the approved sample, components, and packaging against the brand's specification.
  2. 02In-line inspection during the first runs, with findings photographed and raised with the brand the same day.
  3. 03Pre-shipment inspection of finished goods to the acceptance limits the brand set, with a signed report each day on site.
What they received

A daily inspection report with photographs, and a pre-shipment report the brand holds when the goods arrive.

Shipping boxes bought to specification for a consumer brand

The situation

A consumer brand with no purchasing team in the United States needed shipping boxes to an exact dimension and board grade, from the manufacturer, at a price it could defend.

What we did
  1. 01Specification written with the brand, priced at the manufacturer and two alternates, quotes shown side by side.
  2. 02Bought on the brand's written approval, paid on its behalf, and received against the spec with a sample measured and photographed.
  3. 03Billed through at cost with a stated fee, with every invoice on file.
What they received

A buy sheet: specification, target, price paid, supplier, and condition on receipt.

Cert-matched card sourcing to fill a marketplace's customer obligations

The situation

A marketplace owed its customers specific graded cards and needed them found at or under its marked value, matched to grade and printing, without overpaying to close the list.

What we did
  1. 01The fill list priced across multiple channels, with the listing or quote behind every number.
  2. 02Cards bought only on written approval, grade-matched to the certificate, provenance filed at purchase.
  3. 03Lines that could not be filled under the client's target flagged and returned, not bought.
What they received

A buy sheet per line and the flagged list of what was left open, with the reason.
