Who we are

This policy explains how Brich House LLC, 331 Newman Springs Rd, Ste 320, Red Bank, NJ 07701 ("we"), handles personal information collected through brich.house, its portal, its loss registry and related services. Contact: hello@brich.house.

Personal information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, organisation, role and login credentials.
• Engagement information: item identifiers (grader certificate numbers, serial numbers, VINs), descriptions, photographs, holder and location details, instructions and release records.
• Information from platforms: when we provide services to a platform, details about its customers needed for the service, such as a recipient's name and shipping address.
• Loss reports: the reporter's name and contact details, item details and photographs, the circumstances, and any police report number.
• Payment information: processed by our payment processor. We receive limited details, such as payment status and the last four digits of a card.
• Communications: messages you send us and records of messages we send you.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed and referring pages, collected through server logs and analytics.

How we use it

To provide, operate, secure and improve the Services; to verify and record items; to process payments; to communicate with you; to prevent fraud and misuse; to enforce our terms; and to comply with the law. We may use automated and AI tools to process information for these purposes.

How we share it

We share personal information with these categories of third parties:

• Service providers acting for us: hosting and analytics, database, email delivery, payments, workplace email, cloud infrastructure, and AI processing.
• Custodians, platforms and other parties to an engagement, as needed to perform it or as you instruct.
• For loss reports: persons checking an item, platforms, custodians and law enforcement.
• Law enforcement, regulators, courts and others, where we believe the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• A successor in any merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets.
• Others with your consent.

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and tracking

• We use cookies needed to sign you in, keep your session secure and protect forms, and a cookie (bh_gate) that remembers you passed our preview gate.
• Our analytics provider counts page views without cookies.
• Our payment processor may set cookies on its own payment pages.
• We do not allow other third parties to collect information about your online activities over time and across other websites through our site.
• We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Some record entries are kept under a lock for a set period and cannot be deleted before it ends.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Your requests

You may ask to review, correct or delete your personal information by writing to hello@brich.house. We will respond as the law requires. We may keep information where the law requires or allows. If you are a platform's customer, please contact the platform; we will help it respond.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may change this policy by posting a new version with its effective date. Changes apply from that date. Where the law requires, we will give additional notice.
