Methodology

How we review.

We don't score vibes and we don't rank fun. Every review answers one question: what does this platform disclose, and what does it ask you to take on faith?

The rules

  • Public materials only. Sites, terms of service, app-store listings, official filings, and the platform's own marketing — each cited, each dated.
  • Disclosure states, not scores. Every criterion is marked Disclosed, Partial, or Not disclosed. “Not disclosed” means we couldn't find it publicly — not an accusation that it doesn't exist.
  • No mystery shopping, no insider information. If we hold a commercial relationship with a platform, we say so on the review.
  • Right of reply. Every reviewed platform can send corrections with evidence; verified corrections change the review, marked as updated.
  • Dated, not eternal. Terms change constantly. Every review carries its as-of date and stands only for that date.

What we examine

Odds transparencyDoes the platform publish odds before purchase? Is the methodology explained? Is there any independent verification of odds or pool depletion?
Vault & custodyIs a custodian named? Location? Access controls? Or is it an unnamed 'our vault'?
Shipping termsPublished delivery windows, who pays, forced-conversion clocks (ship-by-or-forfeit), dormancy and forfeiture clauses.
Buyback termsThe offered percentage, what benchmark it's marked against, who sets the benchmark, refusal and repricing rights in the ToS.
Insurance & complianceIs an insurer named? Age gates, state gating, KYC practices, responsible-purchase tooling, licensing signals.

Our position, disclosed

Brich House does not sell packs, run breaks or rips, grade cards, operate a marketplace, take custody of anyone's inventory, or broker a single transaction. We hold no position in any card whose value we publish and take no cut of any trade. Where a company under common ownership with Brich House holds a commercial relationship with a platform we review, that relationship is disclosed at the top of the review. That separation is the point: a fact about a terms-of-service clause is true regardless of who publishes it, and we have arranged our business so that you never need to take our word for anything.
