Loss register · Cards

Register a loss.

If a graded card was lost or taken, register it here. Anyone who checks the cert before buying sees an open report, and we contact you or your insurer if it is found.

How the register works

Four steps, and a person at each one.

  1. 01

    You register the card.

The grader and cert, the card, the loss, and how to reach you. Your details are sealed when they arrive.

  2. 02

    A reviewer verifies it.

We check the cert against the grader’s own lookup and accept the report. Until then it is pending, and a check does not show it.

  3. 03

    Buyers check before they buy.

Anyone can check a cert at brich.house/check. An open report shows as a status and a reference. Never your name, your insurer, the place or the dates.

  4. 04

We tell you, or your insurer.

When a check finds the cert, a person at Brich House contacts you or your insurer, and the police where appropriate. Nothing goes out automatically.

Register a card

One card per report.

A small registration fee applies. Insurers and police register free. A recovery fee applies only if the item is recovered, as set out in the terms.

Have several cards to register, or a report for a whole shipment? Write to hello@brich.house.

  • Brich House records reports and notifies. It never seizes, holds, buys or negotiates for a card.
  • Recovery is for you, your insurer and the police.
  • An open report is the registrant’s statement, checked against the grader’s record. It is not a finding about any person.

04Photos

Up to three: JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, 4 MB or less each. They help a reviewer match the card. Sealed: never shown on a public page.

05How to reach you

Sealed: encrypted when it arrives, never on a public page, and opened only by a Brich House reviewer. It is shared only with your insurer, or with the police on a lawful request, as the terms set out.

Each report is pending until a reviewer verifies the cert and accepts it. Privacy
